Background and Foreground Music

There are times when the musician that you've selected at your gig should shine and other times be present in the background.

Popular songs with a backing track (or even no backing track) and a solo violin work well for both background music and in the foreground.

Foreground - and all that jazz...

The musician should shine when bringing the crowd's focus together towards the stage or podium. It could be announcing the MC, the new product or service or in delivering the announcement of the bride or groom. Maybe a showpiece is needed whilst the main event is having a set change - what a great way to occupy whilst the next part of the event is being set up.

Background - When you need some soul to fill a space

It is ideal to hear your friends and guests' conversations whilst in the background - it becomes a soundtrack to the event itself delighting in memories from the past and creating memories for the future.
